Full Cut Touring Cap, size-23-3/4”

This is what we call a Touring Cap. Throughout history this style of hat has been known by many names, including Fisherman’s Hat, Tam O’Shanter, Scally, Baker Boy Hat, Golf Hat, Scottish Sheperd’s Hat, Irish Hat, Driving Cap, Gatsby, Button Top, Lundberg Stetson, Longshoreman's Hat, Big Apple, and Newsboy Cap.

The outer material of this hat is Dorr Wool herringbone. The color effect is a medium-to-dark purple of great depth and diversity of tone. This wool is well on its way to being Hat People’s absolute, “purple of the decade.” It’s so pretty. The starting size is 23 3/4” and the hat is a Full Cut. Although it can adjust smaller, we recommend a hat that fits your exact size.

NOTE OF VARIABLES: The title of this hat indicates it’s specific Cut, but the photographs may be displaying either a Full Cut or a Deep Cut. The difference for someone viewing these two different hat cuts on a mannequin head is minute, the difference in style for the wearer of a hat is significant.
