This is what we call a Sports Cap, throughout history it has been known by many names, including Greek Fisherman’s Hat, People’s Cap, Bicyclist’s Hat, Train Conductors Hat, Military Hat, and Newsboy Cap.
The outer material of this hat is a plaid Pendleton Wool of red, forest green, navy blue, and alternating panels that heather these colors. There is an occasional thin stripe of color throughout the plaid reminiscent of yellowed paper. the lower band is black cotton velveteen. The starting size is 23 1/4”. Although it can adjust smaller, we recommend a hat that fits your exact size.
