This is what we call a Sports Cap. Throughout history it has been known by many names, including Greek Fisherman’s Hat, People’s Cap, Bicyclist’s Hat, Train Conductors Hat, Military Hat, and Newsboy Cap. This hat style has a cotton lining, a cloth bill that can be rolled up for your pocket and still stay resilient; and the hat is designed to be washable (hand wash, cold water, line dry).
The material of this hat is a Camouflage Pendleton Blanket Wool, and the lower band is a lush corduroy of olive green. Note that the camouflage patterns varies across the length and breadth of the fabric. This reality can result in a slight variation between the hat pictured and the one you receive. Also please know that the underbill cloth and stitching’s thread color/style can vary with each hat, please trust that we will strive to make these choices artistically cohesive.
This hat could be worn for style anytime, but also being a blanket wool, it is especially strong fabric and resilient in all types of weather. It will wick moister to a certain degree, and if it gets wet through it will still keep you warm. Although this hat can adjust smaller, we recommend a hat that fits your exact size. Take some time to understand this next step, it is very important: we need your exact hat size.
