HAT PEOPLE TOUR 2026

Our public events this year will be:

Portland Saturday Market ~ PSM. We will at this market all Saturdays in March, and then periodically throughout the season. (At various times PSM has been Saturday/Sunday, it is currently a Saturday only market.) Our main venue in this area is Vancouver Farmer’s Market, 20 minutes north of downtown Portland.

Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland ~ Saturdays and Sundays, Mid-March through October. We will be here various weekends, if you want to double check our status on a given weekend just contact us ahead of time. If you cannot connect with us at Lithia Market, but you are in Southern Oregon and want to purchase hats, please contact us to make a studio appointment.

Roseburg Spring Fair ~ 3/28-30.  Southern Oregon’s sweet, sleepy, grassroots event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. This is our anniversary event, Hat People started here way back in 1978.

Eugene Saturday Market ~ ESM. This venue runs Saturdays only, April through mid November. We will participate in this event most Saturdays in April and various dates throughout the year. Contact us to ask about a certain Saturday, or watch for announcements on our social media page.

Vancouver Farmers Market ~ VFM. We will be at most dates of this market, Saturdays and Sundays, April through October. It is just 20 minutes north of downtown Portland, framing a city park that is about 15 blocks from the I-5 bridge. Many great artists, food booths, a spectacular place to do grocery shopping, and 3 blocks from a lovely stroll along the Columbia River.

Vancouver Farmers Market ~ All weekends in April & 5/2-3.

Corvallis Oregon area Mother’s Day Festival ~ 5/9-10. This is our first year doing this show and we are very excited for it! It about 40 minutes southwest of Corvallis, in the Coast Range Mountains, near the town of Alsea at The Thyme Garden. Along with arts, there is a nursery, display gardens, live music, hiking trails, gourmet food, and libations. Check out their website for details at www.thymegarden.com.

Vancouver Farmers Market ~ 5/16-17, 5/23-24, 5/30-31 & all weekends in June.

Portland Saturday Market ~ The Fourth of July. Quite the time to be in Portland! The Waterfront Blues Festival will be happening at the same time, which is a beautiful multi-day event in PSM’s neighborhood. If you are on the east bank of the Willamette River for the city’s firework display, it is absolutely stunning to see their lights reflect off (and hear their thunder echo through) the skyscrapers of downtown Portland.

Oregon Country Fair ~ 7/10-12. This is our biggest event of the year, held on a massive piece of private land with at least 14 stages and endless parades. We are booth number 238, near the Main Stage Area, we hope to see you emerge from the crowd. Friday of The Fair is your best time (any given year) for specifically shopping the Inspired Designs / Specialty Hats of Hat People. If we have them, we’ll have them then, and they may sell out quickly.

Check out www.oregoncountryfair.org for important details on attending this event.

Vancouver Farmers Market ~ 7/18-19, & 7/25-26.

Portland Saturday Market ~ 8/1 & 8/8.

Vancouver Farmers Market ~ 8/15-16, 8/22-23, 8/29-30, & 9/5-6.

Portland Saturday Market ~ 9/12.

Arcata North Country Fair ~ 9/19-20. We have been going to this event for decades and it is one of our favorites. The parades, the town, the production, the REDWOODS! You name it, plenty well worth the journey.

Vancouver Farmers Market ~ 9/26-27 & all weekends in October.

Portland Saturday Market ~ 11/7 & 11/14.

~Christmas Season Dates throughout November / December are yet to be determined. ~

Lithia Artisans Market of Ashland Christmas Season ~ Events will take place at the Oak Street Ashland Armory and the Pacific Highway Medford Armory.

Eugene Holiday Market ~ If you are unfamiliar with this indoor event and you are within three hours drive of it, please consider showing up to do some of your Winter Holidays gift shopping. It is very large, although with focus I think you could see everything in one day. A certain amount of the presenters change weekly. Free admission, live music, food booths, and more than a few awe-inspiring artists. If you are coming in from out of town, I recommend an adventure that looks something like this: go to Eugene’s Morning Glory Cafe for breakfast at 8 AM, arrive at Holiday Market when the doors open at 10 AM, plan to stay all day.

Our online presence is stronger than ever, please explore all the avenues on our websites. This too is a great way to experience our presentation and purchase our hats.
